Union Serves Notice to Bargain
Today, CUPW officially served notice to bargain to the Canada Post Corporation for both the urban operations unit and the RSMC unit.
Next Steps
Meetings are already scheduled for the month of December. At these initial meetings, the employer will present its vision for the future of its various services, such as parcels and admail, as well as its financial situation. The Union intends to present its own vision, particularly in terms of Canada Post’s financial situation.
Presentation of the Programs of Demands
After the meetings on the postal service and the financial situation, we will be officially presenting our programs of demands for both the urban and RSMC units. This date will be determined shortly. This meeting may take place in December or in early January 2016 at the latest.
