N00-08-R0010 - Routes of more than 40h/week

Statement

The employer is structuring routes of more than forty (40) hours of work per week, which is a violation of the Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers (RSMC) collective agreement, more specifically clause 11.04.

Corrective Steps Requested

The Union requests a statement to the effect that the Corporation is violating the provisions of the RSMC collective agreement by structuring routes of more than forty (40) hours per week. The Union also requests that the Corporation be ordered not to structure routes of more than forty (40) hours per week. The Union further requests that the Corporation be ordered to compensate the employees affected by the aforementioned violation of the collective agreement by paying them for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week at overtime rates, with interest.
