Corrective Steps Requested
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) requests a statement to the effect that the employer is violating the provisions of the collective agreement by not including, in its route assessments, the preparation of oversize householders, pick-up at relay boxes and mail processing. CUPW also requests that the employer be ordered to factor in the preparation of oversize householders, pick-up at relay boxes and mail processing in its route assessments. The Union further requests that the employer be ordered to compensate the affected employees, with interest. The Union reserves the right to request any other corrective action it deems necessary under the circumstances.
