Local Rebates: Union Dues During Strike Activities

Please be advised that during strike activities from October 22 to November 27, 2018, Canada Post did not collect union dues.

With no dues collected in November that means in January, Locals will only receive the extra rebate, as described in section 7.08 of the National Constitution.

The recovery of November’s union dues occurred in January, when members were deducted November and January dues. This amount will be reflected in the Locals’ March rebate.

If your Local experiences a hardship as the result of the non-receipt of your regular rebate, please contact me to discuss interim financing.
